How to send see emails in Japanese?
If you send an email in Japanese, the recipient using Hotmail needs to go to the browser. Go to View > Encoding > More > and then select Japanesee in order to view the characters. Google recipient doesn't need to do anything.
Here are my pictures of LATEST trip in October 2007 to Fukuoka. I studied again at Genki and met some terrific students from America and Europe. Visited my family in Sasebo and visited friends in Tokyo. Went to Daizaifu, Hiroshima and Kumamoto. Learned a lot of new food words and lots of new Kanji. I'm very excited about returning to Soko Gakuen in January 2008 and taking more classes.
Here are my pictures of my trip in October 2006 to Fukuoka. I went to Genki JACS for 2 weeks where I took classes 4 hours a day. I visited my family in nearby Sasebo. Stayed with a wonderful host family in Fukuoka. And just have an overall awesome time.
I've finished the Basic Kanji class at Soko Gakuen. This is wonderful school with low prices and great teachers. I've been taking Japanese for the past few years and have found it to be a very challenging language. Mainly due to learning vocabulary since their grammatical rules are pretty straight forward.

Since I spent an hour on the internet figuring out how to render Japanese characters in Dreamweaver, I shall be generous and share my new found knowledge here. Open up Microsoft word. This assumes you have Microsoft Global IME . Type some characters. Go to File > Save As. Make sure you save as encoded text. Once you click Save, you must choose unicode or unicode (UTF-8). Other choices may work but these were the 2 that I tried. Open the document with Notepad. Then cut and paste into Dreamweaver's Code View. In Design View all you will see are ???. Open with F12 and see how it looks in the browser.
